The film's "unpredictability," seen in distinct colors resulting from positive and negative film development or the uncontrollable effects of varying temperatures, adds a layer of authenticity. In "Listen, the Sea is Crying," a serendipitous moment occurred when I unintentionally used film left in a hot compartment, resulting in unique patterns and textures that heightened the melancholic yet romantic emotions captured.
